TREK TO BHARMAUR OVER INDERHARA PASS (4300M)

This is a 14-day tour six days trekking, that begins and ends in Delhi. Our trek starts in Mc Leod Ganj, Kangra valley and ends in Bharmaur village, Chamba valley.

TREK GRADE: Moderate to Strenuous

BEST TIME:  May to June & September to November

GROUP SIZE : MINIMUM 2 PARTICIPANTS REQUIRED

Day 01

Arrive at Delhi airport.

 

On arrival transfer(By Car) to Hotel. Check in at hotel in Delhi. 

Day 02 

Delhi- Dharamsala

529 km

Over night tourist bus to Dharamsala.

Day 03

Arrive Dharamsala

 

Arrive Dharamsala in early morning. Check in hotel in Mcleod Ganj.

Day 04

Sightseeing in Dharamsala

 

Visit Buddhist monasteries, Tibetan institutes and Bhagsu Nag temple. (By Car)

Day 05

McLeod Ganj – Triund (2975 m)

   9 km

First day on trek. Triund is a flat meadow atop a ridge with good views of Dhauladhars on one side and Kangra valley on the other. Night in tents.

Day 06 

Triund-Lahes Cave (3600m)

   6 km

Acclimatization. Day with short walk. Night in cave or tents.

Day 07

 

Lahes-Inderhara Pass (4300 M)-Chatta Parao (3400 m)

  12 km

Early start is vital as clouds make visibility poor by noon. Walk over soft snow and ice in early summer to reach the pass. From the pass we have beautiful views of Pir Panjal ranges of the Central Himalayas. Night in tents.

Day 08

 

Chatta Parao – Kuwarsi village. (2100 m)

  15 km

Kuwarsi is a beautiful tribal village surrounded by green fields, the first we encounter enroute the Chamba valley. Night in tents or village temple.

Day 09  

Kuwarsi – Siur village

  16 km

After crossing several tribal villages, we reach Siur village for the night.

Day 10

 

Siur – Bharmaur

  12 km

Bharamaur is another tribal village linked by road to Chamba town. Visit 8th Century Chaursi temples in Bharmaur. Night in a small guesthouse. Trek Ends.

Day 11

 

Bharmaur – Chamba

  70 km

Early morning drive(By Local Bus) to Chamba. Visit Bhuri Singh Art Museum and Laxmi Narayan temple. Night at Hotel .

Day 12 

Chamba – Pathankot

119 km

Drive(By Local Bus) from Chamba to Pathankot. Evening train to Delhi.

Day 13 

Arrive Delhi

 

Transfer (By Car) Check in at hotel.

Day 14

Departure.

 

Transfer to airport. ( By Car)

  5. Any additional expenses caused by delays beyond our control such as road blocks, airlines/railway delays, riots, illness, political disturbances, weather hazards, etc.

  6. Airport tax on departure from India.

  7. International and domestic airfare, if any.
