This South India tour takes you from the beautiful beaches of Goa along the fantastic monuments of Indian history to the famous Backwaters of Kerala. You will encounter ox-drawn carts in Karnataka, see bizarre rock formations in Hampi, wander through the deep Jungle in Nature Parks and visit the biggest Tibetan refugee camp in the South. This tour passes through one of the most beautiful and diverse parts of India. Along the slopes of the hills leading to the Deccan-Plateau coffee, cardamom, pepper, rubber plants and cashew nuts are cultivated. A visit of the Mudumalai National Park and short hikes along the beaches of the Malabar Coast at the Arabian Sea will get you in close contact with nature and people. Highlights of the South Indian culture are the Royal City of Mysore and the world famous Hoysala-Temples of Belur and Halebid.
