You will get the first impressions and pictures of this country through the window of our car, while the landscape is slowly passing by. After arrival first visit of Sariska Park by Jeep. With a little bit of luck you can see a tiger here, but panther, sambhar, cheetal, blue bull and also migratory birds can be seen, too.

DAY 04 Early in the morning we start for a full day Jeep Safari inside Sariska. Deep inside the sanctuary we visit the small Kankwari Fort from where we have an incredible view over the plains of the park, dotted with red mud - brick villages. We are back in the afternoon and have time to relax.

DAY 05 After breakfast we leave for Jaipur. Transfer to hotel. Rest of  the day at leisure for relaxation, personal sightseeing and shopping. Or join us for a trip to Sanganer (16 km), which is a famous center for block printed fabriques and handmade paper. In the courtyard of many houses cotton textiles are dyed and handprinted in profusion of colour and design. There are also the ruins of two tripolias, or triple gateways and in addition to its ruined palace Sanganer has a group of Jain Temples.

DAY 06 Sightseeing of Jaipur the capital of Rajasthan, this picturesque city is a symphony in pink, a colour that symbolizes hospitality in Rajput culture. Visit of the old walled city of Jaipur, the unique Jantar Mantar Observatory, which was built in 1700's, yet even today still looks futuristic or almost surrealistic, the City Palace & Museum, which has a rare combination of the finest blends of Rajasthani & Mughal architecture with a collection of Royal costumes, arms & old paintings, and of cause the Hawa Mahal or the palace of winds. In the afternoon excursion to Amber Fort one of the finest example of Rajput architecture, situated on a hillside and overlooking a lake which reflects the fort’s ramparts and terraces. Make your ascent to the palace fortress on the gaily-caparisoned elephant back. Tour the chambers & hallways of the palace, which are famous for the excellence of their design & decoration.

DAY 07 After breakfast we continue our journey to Ajmer. After lunch sightseeing of Ajmer. The Dargah is the tomb of a Sufi saint, Khwaja Muin-ud-din Chishti, who came to Ajmer from Persia in 1192 where he died in 1236. Construction of the shrine was completed by Humayun. In one of the courtyards there is a mosque made of white marble. It has 11 arches and a Persian inscription running the full length of the building. The tomb of the saint is in another courtyard. It has a marble dome and the actual tomb inside is surrounded by a silver platform. The tomb attracts ten thousands of pilgrims every year on the anniversary of the saint's death. Another attraction, the Adhai-din-ka Jhonpara Mosque, was once a Sanskrit college in the 12th century and is one of the finest example of Indo-Islamic architecture. In 1198 Mohammed Ghori destroyed the college and a mosque was built in its place. The mosque was built on pillars and surprisingly no two pillars are alike. Three kilometers and a steep one and a half hour climb beyond the mosque, the Taragarh Fort or Star Fort built by Ajaipal Chauhan commends an excellent view over the city. In the evening transfer to Pushkar, which is only 11 km away from Ajmer, but separated from it by Nag Pahar or the snake mountain.

DAY 08 In the morning after breakfast we start our visit of Pushkar by a one hour walk up to a hilltop where Saraswati Temple is situated overlooking the Pushkar Lake. Pushkar is an ancient city and is considered by Hindus to be one of the most sacred places in India.  It has, perhaps, the only existing temple in Asia, dedicated to Lord Brahma. Life in the city is very much related to the Pushkar Lake. Mythology says that this ancient lake was formed when a lotus flower fell in the valley from the hands of Brahma. The famous Pushkar fair is held every year on the Kartik Purnima day. This fair is famous as a bazaar for the animals particularly the camels. But the folk dancers and the folk musicians add traditional colour to the fair.
